Be part of a local tribute to the heroes in our lives – past and present. Starting on June 11, 100 flags will be flown at South Milwaukee's City Hall. A formal opening ceremony will be held on Thursday, June 14, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. A hero tag listing the donor's name and their personal hero will be placed on each sponsored flag. After the field of flags comes down on June 18, each honor tag will be delivered to the sponsor. To reserve a flag for your hero, use the Flags for Heroes South Milwaukee form. To learn more, email us.
Anyone can be honored. It could be a member of the military or police, fire or other first responder who puts their life on the line for us every day. It could be a teacher, a coach, a mentor, a community leader. It could be anyone who has been a hero in your life.
All net proceeds from Flags for Heroes will be donated back to projects in the South Shore communities through the Rotary Club of Mitchell Field Foundation, a 501(c)(3) public charity. The flags will be put up by Rotarians and scouts in South Milwaukee Troop 252. All flag sponsorships are tax deductible to the full extent of the law.

Whether or not you sponsor a flag for your hero, we invite everyone to post about their hero on our Facebook page: Flags for Heroes MKE South Shore because every hero deserves to be recognized and thanked.
