Once again American flags will fly at Oak Creek Community Center and South Milwaukee City Hall to salute our heroes. We hope you will take advantage of this opportunity to honor your personal hero.

Flags for Heroes is…
A highly visible way to recognize a hero with dignity and honor.
A special remembrance for the person who has enough stuff in their life.
A way to honor a hero while helping others in need.

Event Details
Once again American flags will fly at Oak Creek Community Center and South Milwaukee City Hall. Each sponsored flag will be tagged with the name of a hero, information about the hero and the name of the donor. We hope you will take advantage of this opportunity to honor your hero.
The flags will fly in Oak Creek over Memorial Day (from May 16-29) in front of the Oak Creek Community Center on Howell Avenue. A formal recognition ceremony will be held on Thursday, May 23 at 5:30pm.

They will fly in South Milwaukee over Flag Day (from June 10-23). Flags will be located in front of City Hall on 15th Avenue, down the sidewalk by the Senior Center and into the back by the gazebo.  The recognition ceremony will take place at 6pm on Flag Day by the gazebo.
All flags will fly for two weeks. Each sponsored flag will be tagged with the name of the hero and sponsor. The public is invited to visit anytime and walk through the flags. A list of heroes and their donors will be available to help locate the hero’s flag. After the flags are taken down, each honor tag will be delivered to the sponsor or hero as a momento.

Flag sponsorship is 100% tax deductible.

Whether or not you honor your hero with a flag, we encourage you to post on Facebook: Flags for Heroes MKE South Shore — because every hero deserves to be thanked.
