Jacky Meremable
School in Gros Morne Haiti

Jacky Meremable, is from Haiti but currently studying accounting at the University of Wisconsin Parkside. Four years ago he started a professional school in his hometown, Gros-Morne, Haiti to help teenagers who drop out of high school. Right now the school has about 60 students. When he came to school here he started a 501(c)3 in Wisconsin that would be able to support the school's operations. Recently they were able to raise money to buy a piece land in Haiti so that they can build the school since they are currently renting the space the school is in. The goal is to make the school self sustainable, but in order to do that they need capital to make the initial investment. I hope the Rotary Club maybe able to support a project like thist. Right now what they are looking at is to build the school, dig a well for farming and start a shop so that the school can be self sustaining.
